Nokia's new Lumia packs a crazy 41-megapixel camera

Despite the extra camera power, the phone looks and feels thinner than the too-bulky Lumia 920.The sensor and camera lens protrude from the back in noticeable fashion, but not so much that the phone becomes unpocketable.

The Lumia 1020 has a 4.5-inch screen and a 1280 x 768 resolution, 2 gigabytes of RAM, and a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset. Aside from doubling the RAM, it's basically the same as Nokia's previous Lumia phones.

AT&T to deliver what's next in wireless on July 16

AT&T added another date to the tech calendar today by teasing a big announcement scheduled for next week.Details in the e-mailed announcement are slim -- we don't whether it will host an event or just send a press release -- but the carrier urges us to "Get ready for what's next in wireless" on next Tuesday, July 16.

Lava Iris 351, a low cost Android smartphone has made an appearance on online retail websites, including Flipkart and Saholic. Available for a prize of Rs.3,899. The dual-SIM(GSM) smartphone runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. Lava has not officially launched  the phone,though.
The Lava Iris  351 doesn’t offer support for 3G data but can connect to the internet via GPRS/EDGE. The handset also offers FM radio and FM radio recording. While the lack of 3G connectivity is a bit of a,the phone is essentially targeting feature phone buyers, who might not care about the omission.
