4G network is now available across cities in India


Just after the release of 3G network over various parts of India,it’s time for the next,the 4th generation,the 4G network has been setup and are available in two main cities.That is Kolkata and Bengaluru.Kolkata was the first to have 4G coverage.India’s largest mobile operator company Bharati Airtel won the race to successfully roll out 4G in India for the first time.Airtel has announced that 4G will be available  in other major cities soon.Initially there will only be 4G data service.sms facility will not be available.4G USB modem can be used with laptop or pc to serve highspeed internet instantly.4G plans for Airtel starts from Rs.999 with 6GB usage with Airtel’s 4G LTE modem.The 4G multi mode dongle/USB stick costs around Rs.4999.


Airtel has extended it’s 4G Coverage to more cities across India.Now,the below following cities have Airtel’s 4G network available.
1.Kolkata
2.Bengaluru
3.Pune
4.Chandigarh
Airtel has announced that it will widen it’s 4G coverage to more cities soon.Mean while Aircel,one amongst the fastest growing GSM mobile service providers in India declared that it will launch it’s 4G services by December 2013.Aircel owns 3G licenses/spectrum in 13 states(Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Kerala, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh (East), West Bengal, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Orissa, Assam and North East) with BWA licenses/4G spectrum also obtained in 8 of these states.The officials have explained the reason about the delay for 4G launch.The majority of smart phones(excluding the latest ones) in India do not support 4G.So,time should be given for the expansion of 4G smart phones.
